HR Specialist - Iberia

We are looking for an HR Specialist with focus on Spain and Portugal to join our European HR Team, responsible of ensuring an excellent delivery of day-to-day HR activities and tasks, proactively supporting the management of core HR Processes into the business and guaranteeing an efficient support to employees on HR-related topics on the assigned area. 

 

🚀 As a member of the EU HR Team with a focus on the Iberic market, this position can be based either at the EU headquarters in Milan or at the offices in Barcelona. 

Frequent travel between the two countries is required.

 

Activities


•    Be the first point of contact for Employees on National Labor Contract, Company Policies and administrative matters, and ensure that requests are handled in a consistent and timely manner.
•    Monitor and actively manage the monthly deadlines related to the employment, and actively support the HR decisions by providing managers guidance on national laws/regulations and internal policies if needed. 
•    Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the company's goals and values always ensuring compliance with Spanish employment laws and regulations.
•    Oversee a timely and correct flux of information within the HR portal in relation to the employees movements (hirings & leavings, contract, role and compensation changes, etc).
•    Prepare hiring letters, contracts, letters of promotion and compensation changes in line with the National Labor Contract applied.
•    Prepare monthly reports and interface with the HR Payroll team for monthly closing requirements.
•    Assist and guide employees on company policies, HR programs and administrative matters to ensure that requests are handled in a consistent and timely manner, in accordance with internal policies and national laws/regulations;
•    Support in recruitment and hiring processes: identification of staffing needs and potential sources of recruitment, participation in application screening and telephone interviews/individual interviews, administrative support in recruitment activities, induction programs and training for newly hired staff.
•    The main activities of Retail HR world: Reporting, data processing and archiving.   

 

Requirements


•    At least 3 years of experience in HR operational activities, preferably in structured companies with a retail business with a focus on Spanish market.
•    In-depth knowledge of Spanish labor laws, regulations, and HR practices.
•    Precise, punctual in carrying out the activities, flexible and with spirit of adaptation in a dynamic reality.
•    A team player and trustful person with the ability to form sound relationships with both external and internal stakeholders, with the ability to handle confidential information.
•    Digital and analytical mindset.
•    Ability to work with proficiency with MS Office tools, particularly with Power Point and Excel. 
•    The knowledge of Sap Success Factors will be considered as a Plus.


🌍 Fluent in Spanish and English, the knowledge of Italian is considered as a plus.
