IT Retail Applications Specialist

OTB Spa is looking for an IT Retail Applications Specialist for its Corporate ICT Applications Department, involved in global and cross-brand activities.

The IT Retail Applications Specialist collaborates with IT Retail Team in the evolution and maintenance of the OTB’s in-store systems, with particular focus on Backoffice Solution and Consumer facing Processes supported by the OTB POS solution and its integration with other third-party systems and applications.

The role main responsibilities will be:

• Participate in multiple projects from conception to technical implementation;
• Work as part of a team to evaluate, design and implement new, enhanced software solution for our global retail space;
• Evaluation of use cases of our Business Stakeholders and integration of solutions into existing systems;
• Supervises testing, documentation, and release phases of the software in compliance with internal policies and procedures;
• In cooperation with international colleagues, you will prepare the introduction of the software in different markets;
• Supervise 2nd level supports activities for the management of incidents and the removal of related problems, making sure that all actors (internal and external) are activated up to the final resolution.

 
Job requirements:

• Degree in engineering or information technology or similar;
• 5+ years’ proven experience in national/international IT Retail team and in a project environment;
• Proficiency in written and spoken English;
• Ability to adapt communication according to the audience (business and technical/external consultant);
• Good knowledge of POS IT solution, OneStore preferred.
