Jr Licensing Specialist

At Diesel Headquarter located in Breganze (Italy), we are looking for a Junior Licensing Specialist who will be placed within the Licensing Department. The role will report to the Licensing Timeframes & Jewels Manager and will be responsible for the development and implementation of Diesel Licensing products with specific focus on timeframes and jewelry categories.

 

The role’s main responsibilities are:
•    Support the arrangement and management of Diesel license agreements for the assigned license categories, fostering and enforcing Diesel interests, and monitor the compliance to contractual obligations;
•    Work with the licensing partner to ensure annual sales growth;
•    Monitor seasonal product development and support the definition and successful execution of processes and seasonal calendars;
•    Partner with Marketing function to develop marketing strategies and activities for the assigned license categories, contributing to the successful execution of marketing initiatives to ensure the enforcement of Diesel interests;
•    Partner with the Brand and Retail function to define the right store assortments for license categories;
•  Work closely with Retail function to develop supporting tools for product knowledge and specific contents for DRES platform (Diesel digital platform meant to communicate, engage and train our store network worldwide);
•    Monitor all channels performance and define consequent actions in cooperation with main stakeholders from other HQ functions;
•    Monitor sales, track royalty income and financial performance, and run related weekly / monthly analysis;
•    Create and update visual guidelines and training materials for stores in alignment with the new launches;
•    Create and update competitive market analysis for all assigned license categories and identify new opportunities.

•    Diesel Subsidiaries
•    Licensing Partners’ counterparts (HQ+EMEA)

 

What requirements you need to have:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Economics / Marketing studies, required.
•    1 year experience as Licensing Specialist / Brand Specialist or similar roles, required.
•    Excellent knowledge of the English language. 
•    Expert technical skill proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of web analytics.
•    Advanced organizational skills and analytical mindset are key requirements. The profile must also have determination to achieve objectives, strong initiative, excellent communication skills, ability to problem solving, flexible approach and teamwork.
