For one of our Brands, we are looking for passionate Senior Menswear Designer with a strong attitude and interest to the Men’s RTW, to join the Creative Studio for an enriching and challenging experience in a luxury house.


Job responsibilities and activities of Senior Menswear Designer

Under the instructions of the Creative Director, the Menswear Designer works very closely to the Head Designer. He/She is responsible for the design and creative development and execution of the Menswear Collection, in line with the seasonal creative concepts, collection plan and calendar, allowing to achieve the objectives. 


Directly reporting to Head of Menswear Design, the Senior Menswear Designer has the following main responsibilities:

  • Provide extensive seasonal research, including special projects, colors and trims, especially vintage proposals.
  • Proposing and launching finishing, detail, treatments and any other trials relating to seasonal concept for all categories.
  • Responsible for extensive 3D design work proposals seasonally.
  • Responsible for maintaining sketches updating as needed.
  • Liaising with Merchandising team to ensure collection balance and integrate market need.
  • Fit comments – responsible for assisting passing launches and fit comments to product development team after launches/fittings.
  • Responsible for updating boards after each fitting with fitting photos and new sketches.
  • Maintain block archive each season.


Ensure product execution consistent with creative concepts, by: 

  • Partnering with Product Developers to secure the good execution of design’s creative vision and achieve required level of quality and price points.
  • Participating in technical fitting sessions, ensuring product feasibility, and securing that Design desires are respected during commercialization and industrialization.
  • Participating in the look book and show during styling process, together with Creative Director.
  • Participating in technical presentations for commercial purposes. 


 The Candidate Profile:

  • BA and/or MA Menswear Fashion Design.
  • Experience on extensive creative research from specialist vintage archives, libraries, films, exhibitions, etc. 
  • Experience on making maquettes/3D work/trials.
  • Knowledge on sewing and pattern.
  • Behavioral competencies: passionate, driven, dynamic, flexible, creative, good organizational and inter-personal abilities, perfectionist, team player.
  • At least 6/7 years of experience in the field.
  • Languages: fluent in English, spoken and written, French and Italian a plus.
