Supply Chain Sustainability Management & Engagement Specialist

Objectives and responsibilities of the role:

  • Working cross-functionally with different company’s functions, such as Finance, Procurement, Product Development, Communications, and our regional teams, etc. to implement the Group’s sustainability strategy;
  • Coordinating suppliers’ strategy execution at corporate level and supporting the sustainability team in the implementation of different sustainability programs at supplier level, closely collaborating with operations and sourcing departments of the various Brands. This activity includes:
    • Implementation of the ZDHC Supplier to zero program;
    • Support production and product development teams in improving traceability of raw materials, products and supply chain mapping through the Group’s new collaborative platform for traceability;
    • Coordination of brands’ social audits strategy and support to the execution by each Brand;
  • Overseeing implementation of long-term sustainability goals, driving data analysis and tracking the related company’s performance by consolidating collected data;
  • Facilitating communication on projects and activities related to the supply chain within the different internal and external stakeholders involved and through the different channels identified.


Job requirements:

  • 2/3 years of previous working experience in the sustainability advisory or compliance field, with a strong focus on supply chain programs;
  • Technical knowledge of the various certifications and industry standards (GOTS, OCS, BCI, GRS, RCS, DETOX, etc.);
  • Masters’ degree in Economics, Engineering, Sustainability or similar fields;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Italian. French or another foreign language will be a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge and use of the Office package (in particular excel and power point);
  • Accuracy and attention to details;
  • Ability to prepare reports and recommendations based on cross-functional feedback;
  • Strong understanding of economic and environmental sustainability impact of business operations;
  • Proactive aptitude, problem-solving skills, orientation towards the achievement of objectives and tenacity for carrying out the tasks entrusted;
  • Strong organizational skills and aptitude for team working, but also ability to work independently and under stress;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relational skills for managing properly the relations and engagement of the stakeholder suppliers; 
  • Flexibility, dynamism and adaptability.
