Job Purpose

Responsible for processing all inventory and stock transactions accurately and quickly to contribute to the store team’s achievement of store sales goals. Also responsible for store replenishment and maintaining a clean and organized stockroom.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

Sales/Profit

  • Support store sales productivity and customer service by processing all inventory transactions accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of store sales goals

 

Customer Service

  • Understand and abide by all Diesel retail policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive, professional and customer-centric attitude.
  • Support the Diesel brand image through the Diesel Dress Code policy.
  • Attend all store meetings as directed by management.
  • Develop and maintain understanding of all relevant company, store and product information.

 

Product Merchandising

  • Maintain product levels through the daily restock of the sales floor.
  • Communicate product stock level issues to management as appropriate.
  • Communicate product quality issues to management as necessary.

 

Operations/Loss Prevention

  • Process all inventory transactions accurately, in a timely fashion and as per Diesel inventory policy and procedure.
  • Ensure that all product in back-stock has sensors and is organized at all times.
  • Follow all store opening and closing procedures.
  • Keep current regarding all information posted on store communication boards, and in department binders.

 

Policy and Law Compliance

 

  • Follow all company policies.
  • Adhere to all state and federal laws.

 

Store Maintenance

  • Maintain a clean and organized stockroom at all times.
  • Follow daily and weekly cleaning procedure to ensure department and stores are consistently cleaned to company standards.

 

Brand Protection

 

  • Understand Diesel brand values.
  • Communicate the brand values to customers.
  • Support Diesel brand image by always adhering to Diesel dress code.

General Required Experience

  • Knowledge of Diesel brand and fashion industry.

​​​​​​​

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years in high-volume stock or operations role for fashion retailer.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
