Job Description:

 

The Controller is a key business partner responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls, and actionable insights to support strategic and operational decisions. This role requires a highly proactive professional with a strong analytical mindset, a drive for solutions and innovation, curiosity to challenge assumptions, and the ability to take full ownership of results.

The Controller works closely with management to analyze performance, optimize processes, and provide forward-looking recommendations that drive business growth and operational efficiency. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closures.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Controlling

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Audit Experience.
  • Monitor P&L, balance sheets, and key financial metrics to provide actionable insights to management.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes, providing detailed explanations of performance gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs, improve profitability, and drive efficiency across the organization.
  • Build financial models and dashboards to support strategic decisions and scenario planning.

Business Partnership & Strategic Support

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management, providing data-driven recommendations and constructively challenging assumptions.
  • Identify problems proactively and provide innovative solutions to complex financial and operational challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial planning with operational objectives and strategic priorities.

Process Improvement & Innovation

  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, controlling, and analytical processes.
  • Leverage technology and automation to improve accuracy, efficiency, and visibility of financial data.
  • Bring a solution-oriented and curious mindset, seeking new insights and challenging current practices to enhance performance.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in controlling, FP&A, or business finance in a multinational environment.
  • Experience managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closure processes.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP proficiency (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • English fluency required.
