Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and manage the logistics operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the supply chain process to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods and services. This role involves managing a team, handling inventory, transportation, warehousing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery processes. 

• Manage and monitor supply chain operations, including transportation, customs,warehousing, and distribution. 

• Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and clients to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics. 

• Oversee inventory management, ensuring stock levels are accurate and goods are stored correctly. 

• Analyze and optimize logistical processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings. 

• Manage relationships with logistics providers, carriers, and third-party service providers. 

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. 

• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control across logistics operations. 

• Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals (3PL), providing training and guidance. 

• Utilize logistics software to monitor, track, and report on the flow of goods. 

• Resolve any issues related to transportation, shipping delays, or inventory discrepancies. 

• Prepare and present logistics performance reports to senior management. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 

• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar logistics role. 

• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles. 

• Proficiency in logistics software and tools (e.g., SAP, WMS, TMS). 

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

• Strong communication and negotiation skills. 

• Leadership and team management experience. 

• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the logistics industry. 

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail. 

Preferred Skills: 

Experience with international shipping and customs regulations. 

Knowledge of lean logistics practices. 

Familiarity with project management tools and techniques. 

Experience in a fast-growing company or industry with rapid scaling needs 

Work Environment: 

Hybrid-based with frequent visits to warehouses or distribution centers. 

May require occasional travel to meet with suppliers or clients. 

Position based in Mexico City
