We are seeking a highly accountable and results-driven Merchandiser for the designers Brands to execute merchandising, inventory, and sales initiatives across stores and channels. This role demands strong ownership of store performance, product allocation, and execution of merchandising standards.Â

1. Merchandise Planning and StrategyÂ

Own the development and execution of merchandising strategies that directly impact sales, profitability, and brand positioning.Â

Take full accountability for aligning product assortment with market trends, consumer demand, and seasonal opportunities.Â

Provide frequent, actionable feedback to the buying team to ensure optimal product mix and pricing strategies throughout the year.Â

Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior to drive data-backed assortment decisions and proactively address performance gaps.Â
2. Inventory Management, Allocation, and PricingÂ

Take ownership of inventory allocation plans, ensuring stock levels are optimized across all stores and channels.Â

Be responsible for product allocation, minimizing out-of-stock situations and excess inventory while driving sales performance.Â

Maintain accountability for price management and analysis, ensuring consistency across all channels.Â
-
Manage PDH system updates and new product entries, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.Â
-
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure flawless replenishment and distribution aligned with demand.Â
3. Sales Forecasting and Performance AnalysisÂ

Own sales forecasting at SKU, category, store, and regional levels, ensuring alignment with overall business targets.Â

Conduct weekly performance reviews and develop monthly action plans to proactively address trends, gaps, or opportunities.Â

Maintain full accountability for analyzing sales, inventory turnover, and promotional effectiveness to inform tactical and strategic decisions.Â

Identify and implement corrective actions swiftly to ensure targets are met or exceeded.Â
4. Cross-Functional CollaborationÂ

Lead regular meetings with Store Managers, Marketing, Operations, and Purchasing teams to ensure alignment on launches, promotions, and stock levels.Â

Take ownership of ensuring all merchandising initiatives are executed seamlessly across stores and channels.Â
-
Develop and deliver product training programs for key stakeholders to guarantee consistent execution and understanding of strategies.Â
-
Act as the key point of accountability for cross-departmental coordination, resolving issues proactively.Â
5. Reporting and Performance TrackingÂ

Own the preparation and presentation of reports on sales, inventory, KPIs, and merchandiser performance.Â
-
Take accountability for tracking and driving the product performances, including setting targets, providing feedback.Â
-
Use insights from performance data to make decisive adjustments to inventory, allocation, and merchandising strategies.Â

Maintain dashboards and visualization tools to provide leadership with accurate and actionable insights.Â
6. Accountability and OwnershipÂ

Maintain a high level of accountability for achieving sales, inventory, and brand objectives.Â

Own the execution of merchandising standards and initiatives across stores.Â

Proactively identify and solve issues to ensure optimal store performance.Â
