Job Responsibilities and Activities:

 

As Assistant Store Manager at Maison Margiela, you will be in charge of: 

  • Team Support and Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading, motivating and training the sales team to ensure high performance and exceptional customer service.
  • Sales and Performance: Help meet and exceed sales goals by actively interacting with customers, identifying opportunities, and maintaining a sales-focused environment.
  • Inventory and Inventory Management: Assist in the monitoring of inventory levels, ensure inventory accuracy, and assist with replenishment and visual merchandising.
  • Customer Experience: Ensuring a superior in-store experience for customers by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, resolving issues, and offering personalized services.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.

 

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the luxury fashion or luxury goods sector.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and effectively manage a team.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong sales and customer service experience, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to engage and build relationships with customers and staff.
  • Strategic thinking: Able to develop and execute plans to improve store performance and customer experience.
  • Adaptability: Strong problem-solving skills
  • Personal qualities: Professional, well-groomed and embodying the image and values of Maison Margiela.
