Business Controller

 At Diesel Head office located in Milan, we are looking for a Controller to consolidate the European Controlling Department. He/she will be responsible for drive the costs efficiency process within the organization, complete closing and planning processes on time for the assigned area, improving the business relationship with the head of channel and his/her team. 



The role’s main responsibilities are:

  • Play a key role during the annual budget and other planning processes for the assigned areas, setting timetable for commercial team and providing reliable data on time;
  • Deal with Net Sales, gross profit, operating expenses, capex and cash flow by channel and by EU Country
  • Develop performance analysis and KPIs through weekly and monthly reports by Country and business channels
  • Grant data accuracy and reliability, in accordance with Group policies and procedures;
  • Upload actual and budget figures into the ERP
  • Help the organization, especially the business partner, in achieving its target by analyzing variances vs plan, proactively highlighting risks and opportunities, and proposing corrective actions;
  • Drive and provide business plan to support or challenge investments on new store openings or refit;
  • Constant monitoring of the new projects, both in terms of timing and in terms of investments;

What requirements you need to have:


  •  4-5 years of experience in Controlling area with  focus on sales channel, general expenses  and/or  cash flow
  • Minimum of bachelor degree in business administration with an emphasis on finance or equivalent;
  • Experience in fashion companies   a plus
  • Fluent English;
  • Good command of Microsoft  Office (Advances in Excel). Experience with SAP, Hyperion, Board and Power BI are a plus;
