EUROPE CLIENTELING MANAGER

As the Europe Clienteling Manager, you will lead the development and implementation of a client-centric culture across all stores in Europe.

 

Your mission is to elevate the in-store customer experience, driving loyalty, engagement, and sales through strategic clienteling practices.

 

You will act as a key partner to Retail and Marketing teams, enabling store teams to build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with clients.

 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Clienteling Strategy & Culture

 

  • Define and champion the Clienteling vision across the European retail network.
  • Foster a client-first mindset at all levels of retail operations, from Store Managers to Client Advisors.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to localize and roll out clienteling programs, KPIs, and best practices.

 

Retail Enablement

 

  • Partner with Retail Team to train, coach, and inspire store teams on clienteling techniques (e.g., outreach, appointment setting, client journey mapping). In your role you will be leading by example, also through direct interaction with final client.
  • Identify and cultivate in-store culture to embed best practices and scale impact.
  • On request, Support recruitment and onboarding with a focus on client-oriented talent.

 

Performance Management

 

  • Analyze clienteling KPIs (e.g., repeat rate, average basket, outreach conversion) and develop and execute action plans to improve performance at store level.
  • Create and share regular reporting, insights, and success stories across the business.
  • Deploy and foster adoption of tools or digital platforms that enhance store teams’ ability to track and engage with top clients.

 

Client Engagement Activation

 

  • Partner with CRM, and Marketing teams to design and execute localized client engagement plans, from one-to-one gestures to in-store activations.
  • Support the planning and execution of clienteling events with commercial goals.
  • Provide feedback to global teams on client trends, needs, and behaviors to influence brand experience and future collections.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

 

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Retail or Clienteling roles in premium/luxury retail environments – with direct exposure to final client.
  • Track record of successful Clienteling Initiatives design and deploy on several stores.
  • Proven experience in coaching and influencing retail teams.
  • Strong understanding of client behavior and lifecycle marketing in a physical retail context.
  • Analytical skills with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with frequent travel across European markets – with long time in store.
  • Creative, enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
  • Start-up mindset.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages a plus.

 

LOCATION

  • Based in Milan, (frequent travel in Europe required).
