Marni Group is looking for a Global Travel Retail & Franchising Manager to join the Wholesale team of its Head Quarter in Milan.

Purpose

S/He will be responsible to take ownership of Franchising, Travel Retail global customers and develop the number of doors the company is exhibited in.

The successful candidate will also show ability to build long term relationships with key business partners maximizing sales opportunities, achieving company revenue, profit and business growth objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership and accountability for driving operational excellence in managing wholesale accounts
- Visit the markets to assess the distribution, improve the appearance of existing clients and improve general quality of distribution
- Planning, reporting and follow-up of sales activities
- Seasonal budget negotiations with wholesale partners
- Business development
- Inspire sales teams to meet and exceed performance standards
- Develop plans to address key business issues, and utilise plans to impact business and achieve desired results
- Be able to influence others to gain support to achieve goals and complete projects
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Finance to follow up on shipments, payments, reorders, legal issues.


Main Requirements
- 5+ yrs experience in the luxury fashion industry in wholesale sales, EMEA region
- Good knowledge of Travel Retail dynamics, with main focus on key players
- Showroom selling experience
- University degree
- Knowledge of, and ability to use Office
- Fluent in Italian and English, additional languages are a plus
- A strong drive to deliver results
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate at varying levels within the organisation
- Ability to work flexibly
- An entrepreneurial mindset, ability to take initiative and react quickly to shifting priorities
- The position is based in Milan and requires frequent domestic and international travels
