We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head of Visual Merchandiser Europe to be placed within our European Organization based in Milan.
Reporting hierarchically to the Regional CEO and functionally to the Global Shopping Experience Director, you will be responsible of supporting business results in your perimeter through impactful & inspiring Visual displays that are in line with the global visual merchandising guidelines and with the commercial strategy while upholding the overall brand experience, and of maintaining brand consistency and standards within the Retail, Outlet and Wholesale channels throughout the coordination of the Regional Area Visual team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for developing and implementing a cohesive visual merchandising strategy across all points of sale in Europe, adapting global guidelines to support regional needs and establishing priorities and regional initiatives along with retail, outlet and wholesale business partnes;
- Oversee and manage the regional team of Visual Merchandisers across the Countries, making sure they are trained and equipped to meet Company’s visual standards and objectives;
- Coordinate visual activities calendar and visual team schedule ensuring a proper coverage of the market in consideration of business priorities and needs;
- Lead visual merchandising projects, from conceptualization to execution thorough the support of local suppliers - including window displays and in-store layouts adaptation - ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the desired quality;
- Partner with Retail Managers and Store Managers in monitoring the impact of visual merchandising strategies on sales and customer engagement to support business opportunities with further visual actions;
- Act as the Brand Ambassador by instilling and demonstrating our Diesel DNA & Values in all our point of sales.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in visual merchandising in a modern and forward-thinking retail Company, with a multi-store responsibility covering several countries;
- Excellent creative and design skills, with a keen eye for detail, combined with good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends;
- Strong project management skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Passion for the brand and ability to serve as a brand ambassador;
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of other European languages considered a plus;
- Proficiency in Microsoft (Word & Excel), Mac (Keynote) & basic knowledge of Indesign, Illustrator & Photoshop;
- Willingness to travel extensively.
