Jil Sander is seeking a talented and passionate Intern Graphic & Print Designer to join our Creative Team at our Milan Headquarters. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong artistic background and a passion for print, graphics, and fashion design to contribute to the development of our collections. 

Main Responsilities:

• Assisting the print designer in development of all placed and allover print and graphic work relating to Menswear, Womenswear, soft accessories + special projects and occasionally for accessories, jewelry and embroidery
•  Assisting with researching and crafting stories for the ready-to-wear collections. Most of this work will be carried out on site but you might also visit libraries, museums, exhibitions, suppliers.
• Experimenting and finding new techniques for developing artworks in all methods of drawing, painting and computer skills.
• Working closely with the fabric development team, the creative studio, product development team and production team.
• Helping with preparation of print boards, research boards, overviews, updating the print archive.
• Helping with preparing for various meetings to present graphic work to the creative director and other creative teams, as well as gathering and communicating essential information to the rest of the teams.
• Preparation of color and artworks standards to send out to print mills

Skills needed:

• Excellent skills in Adobe photoshop and illustrator
• Passionate about print and design – have sense of what is available in the market now and have other brand awareness
• Excellent skills in hand drawing, painting, sketching etc
• Strong taste in colour
• Positive and proactive attitude
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of print placements on pattern is a plus
