Retail Operations Specialist Europe

We are looking for a Retail Operations Specialist Europe to be included in the Europe Retail Operations Department, based in Diesel Headoffice in Milan. The resource will report directly to the Europe Retail Operations Manager and will collaborate cross-functionally in delivering operational excellence in Stores ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

 

Main Responsibilities:
•    Assist the Europe Retail Operations Department by executing and monitoring various projects, solving operational issues, and contributing insights for continuous process improvement;  
•    Contribute to the development of tools to ensure operational efficiency, supporting the needs of departments, managers, and stores;
•    Regularly engage with business partners and store teams to offer guidance, procedures, and training, supporting overall operational activities;
•    Ensure clear communication and understanding of defined rules by implementing and maintaining regional guidelines, policies and procedures for store operations, including omnichannel activities, stock management, organization, product flow, stock counts, store systems, and Loss Prevention. 
•    Provide support for new store openings, relocations, and closure with a focus on planning activities related to pre-opening operations, ensuring that systems and designs are fit for purpose;
•    Act as a point of contact for each provider during the coordination and operation of project processes.

 

Job Requirements:
•    The ideal candidate would have a previous experience in Retail Operations (in-store experience is a plus);
•    Good communication and interpersonal skills, combined with precision and a results-oriented approach;
•    The profile must have enthusiasm and passion, ability to take initiative, problem solving and team-working mind-set;
•    Passion for digital technologies and innovation;
•    Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal. Any additional language is a plus;
•    Advance knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel and Power Point.
