JUNIOR GRAPHIC & PRINTS DESIGNER

At Diesel Design Studio, located in Milano (Italy), we are looking for a Junior graphic & prints Designer with a strong attitude and interest to the Contemporary and Sportswear field.

The Junior graphic & print Designer will be placed within the Graphic Design team and will take an active role to support the graphic design activities for all the Diesel Fashion Collection design and development (regular collection, special projects, capsules).

In particular, the Junior Graphic & print Designer will work on the design and technical execution of graphics to be placed on Apparel and accessories products, any category, supporting the Graphic Design and the Fashion Design team on the definition of artworks, placement on product, color combinations and anything related to the graphic application, trims included.

 In details, the role will consist in:

• Conduct trend research – looking for ideas concept, colorways, details, textures, print and embroidery techniques, from vintage to the most innovative materials;
• Design and rendering artworks for Collection and special project across all product Categories, by hands and/or using Adobe Suite;
• Fitting and launching styles to production, atelier and factories in relation to animation execution, always in compliance with apparel design team;
• General assistance during development process meeting and collection presentation;
• Maintaining and updating documentation, ensuring accuracy and attention to details.

• Head of Graphic & prints Design, Head Designers of Diesel Apparel and Denim Collections;
• Menswear, Womenswear and Denim Design Team;
• Merchandising Team;
• Apparel and Denim R&D Team;
• Pattern Makers and Tailors for artwork placement on pattern.

Skills and Requirement:

• Degree in Fashion, graphic & print Design is required;
• Very good Hand drawing and Computer drawing illustrations;
• Good skills of prints and embroidery techniques;
• Strong and precise eye for graphic design and communication
• Proficient in the use of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
• Be up to speed on current graphic design trends and best practices
• Good level of English, both spoken and written
• Creative, proactive and relationship-oriented team worker
• Accurate and flexible approach to work
• Entry level knowledge of pattern making;
• knowledge about AI generated artworks.
