Marketing Director Europe

Diesel is a truly worldwide organization. It is present in more than 80 countries with 5,000 points of sale, including more than 400 company owned stores.

 

Directly reporting to the Europe CEO, the Marketing Director Europe plays a pivotal role in shaping the brand's image and driving its growth in the market. 
Coordinating the EU Marketing team, you will lead the strategies in MEDIA, PR, GTM (omnichannel activities) and CRM. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting compelling activations, establishing positive relationships with all brand’s stakeholders, fostering brand awareness, and maintaining the brand's distinct identity.  

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

STRATEGY AND PLANNING
o    Create and execute strategies to amplify global brand messages at local level (global marketing calendar)
o    Develop local marketing calendar based on seasonal and commercial needs
o    Plan for seasonal product launches, ensuring consistency through channels  and collecting/creating all necessary assets (launch packs)
o    Plan PR activities in order to create visibility in all markets with press, talents and celebrities
o    Ensure a steady approach to CRM in order to maximize the results through dedicated activities
o    Plan the media investment to maximize a full-funnel approach and in alignment with the performance investments (managed by the ecommerce team)

 

BRAND DEVELOPMENT AND PROTECTION: ensure correct use of the brand identity, in order for it to remain consistent and captivating to the target audience in all customer facing activations

 

BUDGET CONTROL: Plan and manage Diesel Europe marketing budget in order to achieve efficiency and ROI

 

MARKET RESEARCH: researching and analysing local trends, competitor activity, emerging trends and technology, update agency portfolio

 

TEAM MANAGEMENT: ensure the team is working in the right direction and with the right tools, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment
 
REPORTING: Establish KPIs and performance metrics for marketing initiatives. Regularly report on campaign effectiveness and use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts

•    Cross functional communication with other HQ teams (ie Shopping Experience)
•    Key Clients top level marketing referents
•    PR Agencies
•    Media Agencies and relevant contacts

 

Job Requirements:


•    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
•    Proven experience (10+ years) in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the fashion/lifestyle industry
•    Strong understanding of the fashion market, consumer behavior, and trends
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
•    Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing marketing teams
•    Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a data-driven approach
•    Commercially savvy
•    Proficiency in marketing software and tools
•    Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
•    Self-motivated, positive and passionate – works in solutions not problems
