Marni is looking for a Europe Retail Area Manager to join the Retail HQ team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Performance & KPI Management

  • Drive sales performance across all stores, ensuring achievement of revenue and profitability targets
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs (sales, conversion, UPT, ATV, CRM metrics) and implement action plans
  • Identify business opportunities and proactively address underperformance
  • Collaborate with HQ Buying team to optimize product assortment and stock levels

2. Client Experience & Brand Excellence

  • Ensure consistent delivery of a high-end, personalized client experience in line with luxury standards
  • Monitor in-store service quality and implement continuous improvements
  • Champion CRM strategies to build long-term client relationships and loyalty
  • Ensure that visual merchandising and the store environment consistently embody the brand’s identity, while identifying and implementing local adaptations to enhance commercial performance

3. People Leadership, Development and Training

  • Recruit, coach, and develop Store Managers and retail teams
  • Train store staff
  • Foster a high-performance culture with strong engagement and accountability
  • Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews, and training sessions
  • Identify and develop talent pipelines for future leadership roles

4. Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure operational excellence across all stores (processes, policies, and procedures)
  • Oversee inventory management, shrinkage control, and stock accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and luxury retail standards
  • Partner with internal departments (HR, Operation, Audit, Customer & Brand experience) to support store operations

5. Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior management
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client behavior
  • Support new store openings, relocations, and renovations

6. Brand Representation

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in communication, image, and values
  • Maintain strong knowledge of the luxury fashion market and competitors
  • Represent the company in the local market when needed

7 . Client Telling/ CRM

  • Drive CRM adoption: ensure all stores consistently capture and update high-quality client data
  • Achieve client teling KPIs
  • Improve the contribution of Net Sales driven by appointments
  • Coach teams on client engagement: train store managers and staff on personalized selling, outreach, and relationship building
  • Ensure consistency & best practice sharing: Standardize clienteling approaches across stores while promoting successful initiatives
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer & Brand experience dept,: align on campaigns, tools, and client experiences to maximize impact
  • Develop and implement in-store activations that drive client engagement, attract new customers, and support sales growth

Job Requirement

  • 5–10+ years of experience in luxury or premium retail, with multi-store responsibility; prior experience as a Store Manager is required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

  • High sensitivity to client experience and luxury service standards
  • Analytical mindset with strong business acumen
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
