Overview:

The Digital Marketplace Specialist plays a key part in managing the end-to-end operations of our Marketplace business, with a strong focus on Amazon FBA and other third-party platforms. The ideal candidate deeply understands eCommerce operations, inventory management, and performance optimization. This role requires a strategic and analytical thinker with hands-on expertise in e-commerce and analytics optimize the customer journey through merchandising and user experience.

 

This role will support all aspects of e-commerce, digital marketing, and customer experience to drive revenue growth, enhance Diesel's digital presence. The Digital Marketplace Specialist will partner very closely with the Senior Manager, E-Commerce, and the Global Headquarters on the marketplace strategy and growth plan for the local market.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Logistics & Operations:

  • Coordinate the process for marketplace sellers and ensure seamless integration across platforms, focusing on Amazon Marketplace;
  • Execute product setup, including uploading product images, copy, pricing strategies, markdowns, taxonomy mapping, and compliance with channel-specific requirements;
  • Oversee inventory levels and stock health by conducting regular stock audits and coordinating replenishments, especially for high-performing SKUs, in collaboration with the merchandising and planning teams;
  • Monitor sell-through rates, FBA stock availability, and ensure optimal inventory coverage to maximize sales and avoid out-of-stock situations;
  • Ensure timely product launches, coordinating all assets and internal approvals to meet go-live dates;
  • Manage and optimize the Amazon FBA operations, including shipment creation, prep guidelines, stock allocation, and resolving any FBA-related issues;
  • Act as a point of contact for cross-functional teams, including external partners, merchandising, customer service, logistics and international business development;

 

Site Management & Digital Marketing:

  • Optimize product rankings and update marketplace storefronts (e.g., Amazon Brand Store) based on performance and seasonal priorities;
  • Monitor the product pages online to ensure all descriptive information, assets, etc are pristine and conducive of stellar client experience;
  • Curate and maintain Amazon A+ Content, and identify opportunities for A/B Testing;
  • Conduct daily site audits to uncover areas for enhancement and optimization;
  • Collect and address customer feedback and reviews to and implement improvements to meet their needs;
  • Ensure execution of promotional strategy;
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining paid search strategies and marketing placements opportunities;`

 

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Analyze sales performance, traffic, conversion, and return rates to identify trends and actionable insights;
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as sales, ROI, inventory turnover, and operational efficiency;
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity;
  • Utilize key metrics to communicate category and product performance and identify key trends and shifts in user behavior;

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented, self-starting, proactive, highly responsible, and organized go-getter with an enthusiastic attitude.         

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in eCommerce or Marketplace operations, preferably within the fashion or consumer goods industry.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Amazon FBA and Amazon Retail Analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel Sheets skills; familiarity with pivot tables, v-lookups, and data analysis.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Seller/Vendor Central, Farfetch, or similar eCommerce tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

 

Salary Range: $65k- $70k per hour
