Overview:
The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist will oversee and manage the online catalog & website experience, optimizing the conversion and the customer journey and ensuring smooth day-to-day management of our website.
This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on expertise in e-commerce and analytics to grow our brand and online sales.
This role will support all aspects of e-commerce, digital marketing, and customer experience to drive revenue growth, enhance Diesel's presence in North America, and ensure seamless integration between online and offline channels. Â
The Online E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist will partner very closely with Global Headquarters on the e-commerce strategy and growth plan for the local market, including merchandising and user experience.

Responsibilities:
Â
Website Management:
- Daily management of on-site activities, primarily focusing on catalog management. Other key activities are related to PLP creation, product sorting, filters, navigation menu, internal search, and homepage updates;
- Ensure alignment of on-site activities with brand objectives and the global editorial calendar, constantly optimizing collections and product categories to enhance the shopping experience;
- Curate Visual Merchandising activities for diesel.com, taking into account delivery, seasonal trends, collections performances, and inventory levels;
- Partner with buying & merchandising teams to ensure that the right products and initiatives are correctly promoted;
- Coordination of main promotional initiatives;
- Internal Search engine optimization to increase CR
- Collaborate with marketing, CRM, IT, and UX/UI teams to ensure implementation of merchandising tools, also supporting on-site testing activities and UAT phases;
Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with broader company goals.
- Partner with the merchandising team & CRM team to improve email marketing performance through PLP creation and product selection to be displayed
Customer Experience:
- Ensure an excellent online shopping experience for customers.
- Address customer feedback and implement improvements to meet their needs.
 Reporting & Analytics:
- Monitor and report on website performance, sales, and marketing efforts.
- Use data to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
- Perform quality assurance for the site daily, which includes searching for issues such as bugs

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented, self-starting, proactive, highly responsible, and organized go-getter with an enthusiastic attitude. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
- 3+ years of experience in an eCommerce Marketing role (negotiable for this temp role)
- Knowledge of online business development tactics, e-commerce trends and competitive landscape for the US market
- Understanding of website platform technologies and main e-commerce tools;
- Proficient knowledge of SFCC Commerce Cloud;
- Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with Adobe Analytics tool and Algolia would be a plus;
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision-making;
- Aptitude to generate new ideas with recommended implementation solutions.
- Extreme attention-to-detail and ability to manage multiple projects & tasks simultaneously.
- Strong reasoning skills and an aptitude for problem solving.
- Proven ability to interact & collaborate across multiple disciplines in-order to accomplish a common goal.
- Ability to exercise independent discretion and make decisions in a time-sensitive environment with minimal or no supervision.
- Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills
- Experience with forging strong and highly collaborative relationships across departments and local/international teams, with the ability to influence business decisions.
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
