Job Description

The EDI/ERP Specialist is a key role within the Infrastructure & Operations department and will be responsible for initiating and supporting all aspects of the EDI and ERP solutions for OTB Group North America.

This role reports to the IT Director, North America and is based out of our NYC office.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, maintain, and provide support on business process transactions on group ERP Systems (Stealth3000 & SAP S4HANA) and on integrated Logistic WMS.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain, together with the technical experts, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems in OTB Group US & Canada environment, ensuring compliance with relevant EDI standards and protocols for our ecosystem.
  • Analyze and optimize EDI transactions and workflows to support retail and distribution processes.
  • Work closely with functional leaders and organizational units to deploy new EDI business processes and onboard new partners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve 1st level ERP-related issues, providing timely and effective support.
  • Troubleshoot and pass 2nd level ERP-related issues to the central Application Service Support based at the headquarters in Italy.
  • Handle ERP<->WMS issues together with the logistic outsourcer service support.
  • Work closely with the central Application Service Support based at the headquarters in Italy.
  • Provide documentation for ERP solutions implemented.

Preferred Skills:

  • 5-8 years working experience on ERP solution, such as SAP or Stealth3000 in retail and fashion industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Distribution business processes.
  • Strong technical skills in EDI standards and protocols, as well as a solid understanding of Retail & vendor distribution processes.
  • Proven experience in EDI testing and activation, particularly in a Luxury Retail environment.
  • Experience working with Logistics Teams is a plus.
  • Highly motivated individual with strong technical proficiency, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Great organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, collaboration, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Range: $70-85k
