IT Director

Responsible for the management of all IT Corporate & Retail aspects for all brands across the North America region of the OTB Group  (Diesel, Marni, Maison Margiela, Jil Sander, Staff Intl USA) This position will report to the Global OTB IT Manager of Regions within the OTB Infrastructure & Operations department. The Director will develop a strategic computing plan for the entire NA organization, determine the needs of the user community and ensure that the organization is providing systems that meet the NA corporate and retail growth initiatives.



•    Apply strategies defined by HQ to manage local IT systems (Server, Network, TLC etc..), Applications, processes and coordinate the team responsible to provide onsite and remote support to both corporate offices and stores   
•    Lead the team to provide support on ERP and retail application collaborating with the Global Application team
•    Manage and procure ICT assets and provision of ICT services for both corporate offices and stores
•    Implement processes, tools, methods, guidelines, and standards in order to improve efficiencies
•    Coordinate all IT activities required for new store openings
•    Collaborate with the Central Infrastructure & Operation team to locally deliver IT projects including coordination of third parties
•    Work with cross functional departments to collect business requirements, identify technical solutions and assess impact of the identified  solutions
•    Support end user training for new applications deployed
•    Provide input to build IT Budget (Capex/Opex) and manage it accordingly to achieve the target
•    Interact with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT related issues and provides answers in a timely manner


•    Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Economics
•    10+ years experience IT area, preferably in the fashion/retail industry
•    Experience on both Infra and Applications areas
•    Proven track record of delivering an agreed ICT Roadmap
•    Good influencing and project management skills; experience working with multiple stakeholders from different functions and different organizational levels
•    Experience managing a team
•    Strong leadership qualities; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment
•    Ability to work successfully in an international environment
•    Ability to travel
