Purpose: 

The Manager, PR will have a deep understanding of traditional and digital PR, with proven experience in developing strategic editorial and influencer partnerships. This role will focus on building and managing relationships with key media contacts, influencers, and brand ambassadors, driving brand awareness, and enhancing public perception. The Manager, PR will be a key player in executing initiatives for OTB in USA, Canada, and Mexico. These initiatives will include securing organic press and editorial campaigns, managing influencer relations, and aligning PR efforts with the company’s overall marketing strategy.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Drive awareness and ensure OTB Americas brand portfolio is held to the highest standards & brand positioning across all PR & Influence activities – including press, events, boutique openings, celebrity initiatives, influencer activations and more
  • Partner with PR & Influence Director in developing focused and elevated strategies to increase brand awareness, exposure and editorial coverage for OTB Americas brand portfolio.
  • Plan and execute local communication calendar in timely manner for PR activities (brand, product, event & corporate), preparing assets, creating press releases, pitching to media, managing proof readings
  • Lead outreach efforts to secure media coverage in national, regional, and trade publications, ensuring key messaging is communicated consistently.
  • Partner with external agency partners to monitor media coverage and track the success of PR campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a media database to facilitate targeted pitching and ensure timely and effective outreach to journalists.
  • Partner and liaise with local and HQ teams on local strategies to generate buzz and awareness in the region
  • In partnership with Director, develop & implement yearly talent dressing and seeding strategy
  • Develop and execute influencer campaigns that align with the company’s goals, ensuring successful partnerships and measurable results.
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of influencer campaigns, measuring engagement, ROI, and overall impact on brand awareness.
  • Manage the PR & influencer budget, inclusive of gifting, travel, etc.
  • Maintain a marketing calendar of Premieres, Film Festivals, & other wardrobing/seeding opportunities
  • Oversee press & talent requests (features, news coverage, samples, other collateral), with agency.
  • Place seasonal sample & seeding orders, aligned with regional business priorities
  • Manage store pulls and giftings
  • Partner with Coordinator, PR to manage sample traffic utilizing Fashion GPS, ensuring product is delivered to the appropriate contacts on time.
  • Ensure PR closet is maintained and organized
  • Manage Editor/Stylist Showroom & Boutique Appointments, Fittings, etc. 
  • Fashion Shows
    • Support PR Agency in consolidating Americas guestlist by brand, ensuring top media, stylists, talent and influence are present
    • Management of attending talent, including deal memos, logistical elements such as fittings, travel, accommodations, transportation, glam and subsequent scheduling. Secure Press coverage – GRWM features, etc.
    • Support PR Agency for re-sees and post-show appointments
  • Press Days
    • In partnership with PR Agency, schedule seasonal appointments with all top local media and stylists
    • Coordinate with merchandising team and PR coordinator for organization of showroom, when relevant
  • General PR Events
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage PR-related events and activities, including product launches and special initiatives.
    • Support Events team with Press & Talent/Influence attendance & coverage of events
    • FOH management of media & VIP

Administration:

  • Maintaining the PR brand budget, both annual and by project, managing PR events such as the fashion show and press days
  • Manage the PR & influencer budget, ensuring campaigns are executed within budgetary guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, influencer marketing, or in an agency setting preferred.
  • Proven experience in managing media relations and influencer campaigns, with a strong track record of securing coverage in top-tier outlets.
  • Experience with influencer platforms, social media, and content marketing strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press materials and pitch media effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and maintain connections with media contacts and influencers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of PR and influencer marketing best practices, trends, and tools.
  • Proficiency in media monitoring tools, influencer management platforms, and analytics software.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Salary Range: $85k-$90k
