Overview

 

To be involved in the provision of a comprehensive and professional Human Resource service to all Head office and Retail associates for US & Canada. To help ensure that objective, consistent, and up-to-date advice is given, and that best practice is always maintained. To promote and manage Human Resource payroll policies and practices proactively with all Managers. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in office.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

PAYROLL

  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 5 brands within US & Canada through ADP Workforce Now for all stores, corporate office and subsidiaries
  • Ensure that all relevant information for the current payroll period has been reviewed and processed by deadline.
  • Enter all new hires, changes and terminations, garnishments/liens, and direct deposits.
  • Monitor all retirement changes and ensure they are captured on a timely manner, working closely with benefits for a seamless change.
  • Calculate and review bi-weekly commission & monthly bonus calculations prior to processing.
  • Review all timecard exceptions prior to processing, run reports to review overtime & meal premiums for additional checks and balances.
  • Process manual checks for final pay terminations when necessary for the states requiring immediate pay.
  • Assist with payroll tax preparation and reports (monthly, quarterly and yearend) for federal, state and financial audits as required.

 

 

EMPLOYEE DOCUMENTATION

  • Ensuring all forms sent to payroll are properly completed, signed and filed in their respective locations.
  • Support in the adjustments/amendments of employee’s annual tax statements

 

GENERAL PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION

 

  • Maintaining an organized and updated filing system for all Payroll functions
  • Point of contact for all payroll, time & attendance & tax inquiries
  • Conduct regular audits within ADP to ensure data integrity.
  • Ad hoc reporting & responsibilities as requested.
  • Prepare Quarterly wages to report to the State (NY,CA,FL,NV,HI,PA)

GENERAL REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • At least 2+ years’ experience in processing multi-state payroll
  • ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
  • Experience with retail payroll processing preferred

Salary range: $60-70k
