Overview:

This position will manage Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding function for the OTB Group in North America . This individual will lead and manage full cycle recruitment for each brand of the Group’s portfolio (Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander, D2, Staff International etc) . Reporting to the VP, HR & Organization, you will play a role in supporting the strategy to attract, engage, and develop dynamic, high-performing talent for the collective Group.

This individual will work collaboratively and consistently with the Global OTB & brand maison teams to leverage global programs in the NA market.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Drive searches end-to-end for professional, managerial, and executive level (as needed) positions across all brands
  • Partner with HRVP & global HQ in developing & supporting the talent acquisition strategy & function for NA organization
  • Create, align and integrate talent acquisition function (including process, tools, resources, mindset) into the full employee lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and a consistent employee and candidate experience
  • Source, assess, select candidates and manage offer process
  • Guide hiring managers and provide professional and expert consultation with regard to the hiring process and the market for talent (passive and active candidates)
  • Provide strategically identified sources of top talent for hard to fill positions and to meet the short and long-term talent needs of the organization
  • Ensure continuity and consistency of candidate acquisition strategy, company culture, and recruiting best-practices including the interview and onboarding processes for each brand
  • Partner with HRBP’s on pro-active recruitment efforts to create pipeline of talent and programs across all levels and brands to ensure the growth of talent pools that support the needs of the business
  • Research - convert target candidates into engaged applicants using internal and external research
  • Manage LinkedIn Recruiter and other internet sources to manage postings, enhance communication to develop pools of candidates and referrals
  • Networking - pursue & develop relationships with potential candidates and key industry executives
  • Partner with HRBP’s & VP, HR to manage sensitive situations, decision-making, and on-boarding process
  • Conduct exploratory interviews on a regular basis and develop system to ensure follow up
  • Create, develop and deploy Internship program; establish relationships with key fashion schools in NY
  • Develop key initiatives for recruiting diverse talent with a focus on luxury retail

Employment Branding & Marketing

  • Partner with HRBP’s, Global OTB and each maison team to develop, enhance and execute the employment marketing and branding initiatives including social and career site (LinkedIn, OTB.com, etc.) and ensure the internal and external candidate experience are aligned
  • Plan and execute activities to communicate & enhance OTB Group’s employment brand for NA and consistent with the overall Group & maison messaging
  • Ensure all employment documentation, communication and all touchpoints are appropriately branded and in line with voice of maison/ Group
  • Develop potential school relationships (FIT, Parsons, Pratt) &; partner with HQ on OTB foundation opportunities

Other

 

  • Work closely with HRBP’s locally and globally on key initiatives for the organization, such as system implementations, hiring policies, processes, (SSF)
  • Maintain current knowledge of Fashion Retail/Luxury goods industry and systematically mobilize recruitment efforts base on recent industry news
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to meet the changing needs of each brand and organization.
  • Share process improvement recommendations and current needs for NA with Global teams to provide insight and contribute to proactive program development globally
  • Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness
  • Actively contribute to the overall people retention strategy and the employee lifecycle

 

Qualifications
 

The ideal candidate will be a service-oriented, self-starting, proactive, highly responsible and organized go-getter with an enthusiastic attitude.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required ; HR certifications a plus
  • 5-7 years of recruitment experience; fashion, retail experience a must (luxury a plus)
  • Strong experience recruiting for corporate, creative and/or merchandising a must (retail roles a plus)
  • Strong time management and follow through skills
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office and ATS, HRIS; LinkedIn Recruiter (Experience with SuccessFactors a plus)

  • Demonstrated positive collaboration skills in a dynamic, fast paced ,multi-dimensional environment
  • Must understand the talent ecosystem and how Talent Acquisition aligns, integrates, and supports the full employee talent life cycle
  • Must be organized, detail oriented, demonstrated project management skills, able to work independently and handle multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of external market and industry trends
  • Possess knowledge in multiple areas of recruitment methodology (direct attraction of high quality candidates, Interview and assessment design)
  • Proven understanding of recruitment success metrics, kpi’s and use of data

 

Salary Range: $90-100k
