HR Manager France, Belgium, UK & Nordics

We are looking for a HR Manager France, Belgium, UK & Nordics, who will be placed within the Human Resources team based in Paris Diesel Head Office.

Directly reporting to the HR Director Europe, the HR Manager for France, Belgium, UK & Nordics will play an extensive and comprehensive role with a wide range of responsibilities and interactions across all the organizational levels. You will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management needs in the designated business area. Partnering with other HR colleagues across the organization you will contribute to the development and execution of organizational strategies with the aim to align structure, culture and people management to the business goals.


Main activities and responsibilities:

•    Manage day to day HR topics, employee relations and act as a primary interface with employees in our organization, providing the best services to the employees and business combining respect for culture, strategies, and policies of the Group, in compliance with the national labor legislation;
•    Ensure that all the HR Administration activities and requirements are properly managed, assuring the relationship with local payroll providers, services agencies and government authorities;
•    Partner with business leaders to evaluate and define the store staff organization set up in order to achieve better effectiveness and efficiency to meet business needs and priorities;
•    Manage the personnel cost in accordance with the Group guidelines (calendars, tools and formats) and instructions provided from the HR Director Europe;
•    Coordinate C&B programs, guaranteeing benchmark and harmonization within the local markets. Ensure the roll out of salary review process, monitoring compensation guidelines respect. Assure that sales bonus plans and commissions schemes are properly set-up and implemented;
•    Manage and oversee the talent acquisition process by identifying, together with Business Partners, candidates aligned with the job profiling and company’s values. Foster talent and employee development, manage succession planning and Talent pipeline, Recruits, develops and retains high-performing and talented workforce for his/her own organization;
•    Provide assistance and coaching to both Line Management and Employees on Performance & Talent Management processes, ensuring overall consistency of the operations and compliance with defined guidelines and objectives. Recommend potential career developments, mobility opportunities and succession plans, ensuring their implementation;
•    Leading and deploying implementation of the People Excellence strategy and HR strategic agenda in the assigned organization/ function;
•    Ensures communication of vision and strategy for his/her area of responsibility above and below within the organization;
•    Act as a change management facilitator, participate in system/process redesign in regards to HR topics and strategic project implementation;
•    Ensure effective communication across function, promote a culture of daily recognition among employees, leveraging on people leaders, set inclusive environment and wellbeing, manage compensation and benefits programs.

Main requirements:

Significant HR experience preferably in multinational companies with a multi-country experience and fast paces environment;
8+ years of related work experience on HR Field preferably in retail sector;
Deep knowledge of French labor law. Additional knowledge in other countries is considered a plus;
Ability to drive change management and effectively manage multiple tasks; 
Ability to develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels;
Ability to motivate others, influence work behaviors, negotiate;
Problem solving capability and proven hands-on attitude;
Fluency in French and English, Italian will be an asset;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems;
Availability to travel.
