This internship is to be filled from November 10th, for a period of 6 months.
Context:Â
As part of the MM6 Merchandising Department of Maison Margiela, you will assist the Merchandisers in charge of monitoring the entire Men's and Women's product offer of the ready-to-wear collections. You will discover a strategic profession around Product and Purchasing, in permanent contact with the markets. In this context, you will participate in the development of our future collections and our product development strategy by working 360° on how to relay the product strategy internally as well as internationally. You will help build our product assortments and ensure their follow-up throughout the purchasing and production process.Â
Job Responsibilities and Activities: The Assistant Merchandiser MM6 will report directly to the MM6 Merchandising team.
Collection:
• Assist the teams in the analysis of the performance of RTW collections and the analysis of seasonal best sales for all categories.
• Provide the various qualitative and quantitative analyses requested on the performance of the collections (sell-in/ sell out / post-market / ad-hoc..)
• Help define key areas of improvement for the next season.
• Collect sell-through reports from key wholesale partners by region
• Assist Merchandisers in establishing the pricing structure of collections...
• Creation and daily update of collection tools (databases, showroom tools, etc.).
• Work on all other special projects as per the needs of the Merchandisers (capsules & collaborations).

Retail Purchasing:
• Assist the Merchandising teams in the preparation of buying sessions with regional buyers
• Close operational collaboration with the teams dedicated to fashion shows (2/year) and showroom (4/year)

360 Collection Merchandiser :
• Update all 360 tools in conjunction with the Marketing, E-commerce, press, image, visual merchandiser teams
• Assist the teams in the monitoring of the 360 calendar strategy with the help of the regions.

Profiles:
• You are looking for a 6-month internship as part of your Master 1/2 or a gap year.
• You have a Bac +4/+5 training in a business school or specialized in fashion (IFM, ESMOD, LISAA...).
• You have strong analytical skills, an excellent command of Excel and the Office Pack (especially PowerPoint) and an appetite for figures, statistics and analysis.
• You have a first significant experience as a Collection Merchandiser / Retail Merchandiser. Â
• You have a strong interest in the world of fashion / luxury, a curiosity for the product.  Â
• You are proficient in Power BI, Stealth and PLM.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork.
• You are rigorous, responsive and have a high speed of execution.
• You have a good knowledge of global market trends (WW).
• You are proactive and able to take initiative while respecting the brand image.
• You have strong organizational skills and are comfortable presenting your ideas.
• You speak French and English fluently, both written and spoken.
• Fluency in Italian would be a plus.
