Maison Margiela is a Paris-based fashion house founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. As Social Media Editor you will be responsible for working on a pioneering, world-class social media strategy, strengthening our brand presence across all digital platforms. You will be an integral part of the marketing department, assisting in the seamless collaboration between creative, PR, brand, e-commerce and production teams to propel content creation and campaign development.
Key Responsibilities :
· Be an active participant in creating global rollouts in tune with the brand timeline, including the timely delivery and optimisation of assets, captions and other brand collaterals.
· Take charge in maintaining global and regional social media calendars and publishing across various platforms for Maison Margiela and MM6
· Be proactive in proposing ideas at every level and shining a fresh light on social media within the fashion landscape.
· Compile briefs and work alongside in-house creative teams to develop innovative and social-friendly content.
· Discover new and exciting content creators for owned brand collaborations in the digital sphere for Maison Margiela and MM6 as part of a bespoke social strategy.
· Lead influencer strategy and relations for the creation of earned content during key brand activations to forge new avenues of community awareness.
· Engage in light production uplift for occasional influencer campaigns.
· Participate in content direction for key MM6 partnerships, covering moodboards and social strategy.
· General community management including replying to KOL and DM inquiries.
· Oversee global analytics reporting for earned and owned activity to make recommendations back to the business.
· Participate in organising livestream set-up for runway shows.

Qualifications & Experience :
· 5 years of experience working in social media in the luxury, fashion, or beauty industry.
· Proven track record in building and executing successful social media strategies for an international brand.
· Excellent understanding of the luxury consumer and digital trends.
· An unshakeable attention to detail.
· Outstanding skills in storytelling, content curation, and asset planning.
· An excellent knowledge and contact list of influencers and creators.
· Analytical mindset with expertise in social media analytics tools.
· Passion for luxury, creativity, and innovation in digital marketing.
· Fluency in French and English (Italian is a plus).
